SAA is dedicated to building a global community of professional photographers.
Our members share a commitment to expand and energize the ability of independent artists to build strong, healthy, long term businesses.
We welcome four categories of members:
General Membership
Professional photographers with established qualifications and credentials who are either currently licensing stock images, or interested in developing a stock licensing business.
General Members are voting members of SAA and entitled to full benefits of membership.
Annual Dues: $175.00
Associate Membership
Emerging professional photographers who have been in the business for less than two years and otherwise meet the qualifications of General Membership.
Associate Members are non-voting members entitled to all benefits of membership except voting. Associate status is granted for a maximum of two years after which members must apply for General Membership.
Annual Dues: $90.00
Affiliate Membership
For allied professionals engaged in a business supportive of SAA's mission.
Affiliate Members have access to SAA publications, online resources, forums and member discounts, but they are not eligible to vote or to participate in SAA's Legal Plan and other benefits of professional membership.
Annual Dues: $175.00Student Membership
Full time students enrolled in accredited, college level photography-degree programs.
This education-oriented membership entitles access to SAA’s online resources, publications and discussion forum. Students do not qualify for the professional-level benefits of SAA’s Legal Plan or Adobe Photographers Directory listing. Student Members are non-voting members.
Annual Dues: $25.00
